About the Role:
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Estimating Specialist to join our team at Kennedy Richter Construction, LLC. In this role, you will be responsible for developing accurate estimates and competitive bids for construction projects.
- Be the main point of contact for assigned projects
- Consult with clients, architects, subcontractors, and material suppliers to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues
- Maintain all project documents in an organized manner
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate the company's estimating software (ProEst) to produce accurate bids and estimates
- Aide in building complete database of approved trade partners and continue building subcontractor base
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management a plus
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
- Familiarity with blueprints and ability to read plans
- 2-5 years' of construction experience preferred
