A Baltimore logistics company has an immediate need for an administrative professional to join their team. The Operations Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Warehouse Management Team in daily operations to achieve optimal operating efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Scheduling of all inbound/outbound shipments with outside carriers
- Arriving & dispatching drivers to proper loading locations and notifying warehouse personnel of arrival
- Issuing complete & accurate Bills of Lading
- Yard arrival of inbound ocean containers
- Preparation of inbound ocean container paperwork and receiving labels (if necessary)
- Preparation of inbound transactions for committal at Customer Service Central
- Submittal of inbound/outbound documentation to Customer Service Central
- Assist in inventory control, problem solving and general Operations support
- Fielding calls and emails professionally
- Maintain a neat and orderly work space
- 3-5 years industry experience preferred
- Operations background preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs
- WMS/Dispatch experience a plus
- Organized & detail oriented
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
