Job Details The Clinical Pharmacist oversees the medication distribution system for their area of responsibility. In addition, the Clinical Pharmacist identifies, prevents, and resolves drug therapy problems by ensuring each medication is indicated, effective, safe, and convenient for the patient. Job Description Essential Functions Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson. Assures the appropriateness of drug therapy and compliance with hospital policies Oversees the distribution of medications throughout TJUH Supports implementation of processes to assure the quality of Pharmacy services Trains staff as assigned (e.g., residents, interns, technicians, new pharmacists) Precepts student pharmacists as assigned.
