Our Management team is hiring for a Flexible Shuttle Driver to join our Team at our Kenner location.

Hours Available: 7am to 3pm and 3pm to 11pm

Hourly Rate Starts at $12 plus tips

Full job description

The Shuttle Driver is responsible for providing safe transportation for hotel guests with our hotel shuttle. When the shuttle is not busy the position assists with other hotel operations.

Responsibilities:

• Safe and efficient driving while obeying all laws, transporting guests
• Assist guests with luggage as needed (can be heavy lifting)
• Assist guests with hotel and area information
• Maintain clean and neat appearance of shuttle van
• Monitor shuttle van maintenance needs
• Provide a clean and safe environment for guests
• Clean and maintain common areas of the property including the parking lot, pool area, and all the floors
• Stock our Marketplace
• Deliver service items to guest rooms upon requests from the front desk
• Maintain effective performance under pressure
• Follow guest safety procedures
• Acknowledge and greet guests in public spaces

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with a good record
• Excellent customer service skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 35-50 pounds
• Ability to multi-task
• Display good initiative
• A can-do attitude and a hands-on approach

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Morning shift
• Night shift

Work Days:

• Every weekend
• Holidays
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Heavy lifting: 1 year (Required)
• Driving: 1 year (Required)
• Customer service: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Kenner, LA 70065: Relocate before starting work (Required)
