Diesel Mechanic

Job Summary

To preform timely, safe, and efficient Pm services and repairs that meet and exceed DOT and Kennesaw Transportations standards.

Truck Tech Duties

• To perform diagnostic tests utilize appropriate resources, such as the parts manual and computer, service bulletins and other resources to research problems
• Determine most effective and efficient method for repair and locate parts for routine maintenance procedures and determine a course of action for damaged parts and systems.
• Changing oil and filters, fuel filters, air filters, servicing the DEF after treatment system, Cabin filters, maintaining DOT inspections. To repair/replace brakes, Drive line, Air compressor and complete air system, Cooling system, After treatment system and DEF system, Steering components, Lighting system and wiring, MVAC system, To replace worn-out/faulty parts with OEM or sufficient aftermarket replacement parts.
• Document Work order details within the Company’s internal software and billing program, Create repair orders and correctly log hours, preventive services, and parts used.
  
  

Must Abide by all Company policies and safety rules and assist in maintaining a clean, safe work environment and organized work space that meets and exceeds OSHA and Kennesaw transportations Standards and Expectations.

Qualifications

Experience:

• Diesel Engine Repair: 3 years (Preferred)
• Mechanical Knowledge: 3 years (Preferred)
  
  

License/Certification
