Job Summary
To preform timely, safe, and efficient Pm services and repairs that meet and exceed DOT and Kennesaw Transportations standards.
Truck Tech Duties
- To perform diagnostic tests utilize appropriate resources, such as the parts manual and computer, service bulletins and other resources to research problems
- Determine most effective and efficient method for repair and locate parts for routine maintenance procedures and determine a course of action for damaged parts and systems.
- Changing oil and filters, fuel filters, air filters, servicing the DEF after treatment system, Cabin filters, maintaining DOT inspections. To repair/replace brakes, Drive line, Air compressor and complete air system, Cooling system, After treatment system and DEF system, Steering components, Lighting system and wiring, MVAC system, To replace worn-out/faulty parts with OEM or sufficient aftermarket replacement parts.
- Document Work order details within the Company’s internal software and billing program, Create repair orders and correctly log hours, preventive services, and parts used.
Qualifications
Experience:
- Diesel Engine Repair: 3 years (Preferred)
- Mechanical Knowledge: 3 years (Preferred)
