This is an entry-level role that offers you the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of the freight industry, including managing orders, negotiating deals, meeting customer expectations, and delivering top-notch service.
About the Role
This position is designed to help you build a strong foundation in freight management and grow into a Carrier Sales Representative or Customer Sales Representative role within our organization. This is an entry level salary role and once you move up (usually within 3-6 months) you then can start earning commission with no cap!
What You’ll Do
As a Carrier Support Specialist, you will:
- Partner with a Carrier Sales Representative to source carriers and assign them to open orders.
- Provide tracking updates to customers and ensure smooth communication.
- Assist with the onboarding of new carriers.
- Spend most of your day making phone calls, sending texts and emails, and coordinating shipments.
- Solve problems and make fast decisions to ensure timely deliveries.

- Associates degree or 2 years relevant experience

- Strong computer skills and attention to detail.
