Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Audit Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the audit process, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing strategic insights to enhance audit performance. This role requires a strong understanding of GAAP, GAAS, and various auditing standards, as well as the ability to lead a team effectively.
Duties
- Manage and supervise the audit process from planning through completion for various clients in accordance with established auditing standards.
- Conduct financial audits of governmental and non-profit agencies to ensure adherence to regulations and policies.
- Review financial statements and reports for accuracy and compliance with GAAP and GAAS.
- Prepare detailed audit reports that outline findings and recommendations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in auditing and accounting.
- Assist audit team on auditing techniques and methodologies.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; Master’s degree or CPA designation preferred.
- Proven experience in financial auditing, governmental accounting, or non-profit accounting.
- Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, financial analysis, and internal audit processes.
- Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance requirements is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience managing teams effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills to convey complex financial information clearly.
This position requires travel days to client offices during audit season. However, overnight travel is not required.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
