What are the responsibilities and job description for the Props - HS Musical position at Kennett Consolidated School District?
Kennett High School is seeking a high-energy, enthusiastic, person for Props for the Musical.
In consultation with the directors, make a list of props to be acquired.- Prepare a detailed list of borrowed props and record the name, address and phone number along with a description of the item borrowed.
- Purchase props where necessary, submitting receipts for reimbursement.
- Attend rehearsals as required to check that the prop list coincides with actual requirements.
- Prepare final prop list and indicate which actor uses which item at which point in the play. Make up separate lists for:
- a) preset before curtain
- b) act or scene ‘set-up’ or ‘strike’
- After the run, promptly return all borrowed items.
- Successful candidates should believe in the importance of the impact of extra-curricular activities in a child's K-12 experience
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
Requirements:
- Must be available on nights and weekends
- High School Diploma
- Ability to work in a team setting
