What are the responsibilities and job description for the SOCIAL WORKER - EXTENDED SCHOOL YEAR PROGRAM position at Kennett Consolidated School District?
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Social Worker to join our team for the upcoming Extended School Year Program. The Social Worker will be responsible for providing emotional support, mental health evaluations, therapy and case management services to students experiencing psychological, emotional, medical, social and/or familial challenges, to enhance the total development of students.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work
- Must have Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- PA Home and School Visitor Certification
Program will run Monday through Thursday from July 7, 2025 through July 31, 2025
Staff hours will be 8:30 am - 12:30 pm (students will report 9:00 am - 12:00 pm)
8 hours of preparation and set-up, as well as 8 hours for end-of-ESY paperwork and cleanup will be compensated. The district will designate dates and times.
