What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Technology Team position at Kennett Consolidated School District?
This is an excellent summer job for students in high school and college.
Selected candidates will assist in the maintenance and upgrading of all district technology throughout the summer.
This position will work Monday - Thursday 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM. The position could run from May through August (some flexibility with start/end date is permitted for college students' school schedule).
Candidates must be at least 16 years of age.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Hardware troubleshooting skills
- Excellent software skills
- Operating System experience (Chrome, Mac, Windows)
- Excellent knowledge of Chromebooks, desktops, laptops, and other common peripheral devices
- Experience enrolling/managing Chromebooks and deploying disk images
- Ability to monitor computer technology service and repair
- Self-motivated
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs up to a height of 4 feet occasionally
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Maintain/update work order system and communicate work order priority and status to end users.
- Effectively diagnose and troubleshoot malfunction of computer or network devices relating to user error, faulty hardware, or software/server/network issues.
- Communicate effectively with staff and students regarding maintenance of technology.
- Actively monitor and report compliance with the district’s technology service level agreement.
