The Kennett School District seeks applicants for a Biology/Environmental Science teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teach courses in physical science utilizing course of study adopted by the Board of Education and other appropriate learning activities.
- Instructs students in citizenship and basic subject matter specified in state law and administrative regulations and procedures of the school district.
- Demonstrates scientific concepts using technology, and other standard and/or teacher prepared instructional aids.
- Provides opportunities for individualized and small group instruction to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each student.
- Designs and facilitates learning activities that relate science to the physical world.
- Establishes and maintains standards of student behavior to provide an orderly, productive classroom environment.
- Evaluates each student’s progress in scientific knowledge and skills.
- Maintains professional competence through professional development.
