What are the responsibilities and job description for the Set Construction - HS Musical position at Kennett High School?
Kennett High School is seeking a high-energy, enthusiastic, person for Set Construction for the Musical.
- Work with directors to prepare a materials list for lumbar, hardware, unique materials, paint etc. and arrange for their pick-up delivery
- Construct planned sets and/or allocate jobs and aid in construction
- Confer as necessary with the directors regarding progress or problems
- Be responsible for ensuring all tools, paint brushes and supplies are kept in good condition and in the proper place. Report any problems to the directors
- Sweep the stage and workshop after each work session
- In cooperation with the directors, organize the strike at the end of the performance, determining what is being saved or disposed of
- Successful candidates should believe in the importance of the impact of extra-curricular activities in a child's K-12 experience
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
Requirements:
- Must be available on nights and weekends
- High School Diploma
- Ability to work in a team setting
