Hours : 6 Hours per Day, 180 Days per Year
This position is based on student / program need. Location may change and / or hours may increase or decrease as necessary.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The paraeducator will work with students individually and in groups in the regular classroom and special services settings, under the supervision of the certificated staff. The paraeducator will provide clerical assistance, crosswalk and recess supervision, and perform other job-related duties as needed.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have an AA degree OR 72 quarter college credits OR 48 semester college credits OR a passing score on the ETS test.
- Must attach unofficial transcript proving AA degree or equivalent to application. Official transcripts of all levels of education, including high school, required within 30 days of hire.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be able to meet the Physical Demands of the position.
- Must pass a basic skills test.
- Completion of Safe Schools Web Based Training within 30 days of hire and yearly thereafter.
- Must pass a background check, which includes employee paid fingerprinting.
