Position Description : Job Summary
The Manufacturing Coordinator will play a pivotal role in ensuring efficient production operations by acting as the liaison between engineers, quality control, and the production floor. The ideal candidate will be proficient in CAD software and manufacturer ERP systems, capable of creating and managing work orders and purchase orders, and knowledgeable about ISO quality systems. Bilingual candidates (Spanish / English) are encouraged to apply as this role may require communication with diverse teams and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
CAD & Technical Drawings :
Utilize CAD software to review and generate detailed production drawings.
Collaborate with engineers to ensure drawings and specifications meet production requirements.
tWork Order & Purchase Order Management :
Create, process, and manage work orders and purchase orders in the ERP system.
Monitor the progress of work orders through the production cycle and ensure timely completion.
tERP System Utilization :
Input and update production data, ensuring accuracy within the manufacturers ERP system.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to work order processing and system discrepancies.
tCross-Departmental Coordination :
Serve as the daily point of contact between engineers, quality control teams, and machine operators.
Facilitate clear and effective communication to address production challenges and ensure adherence to quality standards.
tQuality & Compliance :
Support the implementation and maintenance of ISO quality systems.
Work closely with quality control to monitor compliance with internal and external standards.
tAdditional Duties :
Provide administrative support related to production operations.
Assist in training and guiding production staff on process improvements and best practices.
Perform other duties assigned by management to ensure smooth production operations.
Qualifications
tEducation & Experience :
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelors degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
tTechnical Skills :
Proficient in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD or similar).
Experience with manufacturer ERP systems for work order and purchase order management.
Understanding of ISO quality systems and manufacturing best practices.
tInterpersonal Skills :
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to coordinate effectively across departments and work in a fast-paced environment.
Problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
tLanguage Skills :
