Location: Moline, IL
Kenney's Pest Control, a leading pest management company in Moline, IL, is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Pest Control Technician to join our team. As a Pest Control Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and satisfaction of our valued customers by effectively identifying and eliminating pest infestations.
Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest problems
- Develop and implement appropriate pest control treatment plans
- Safely and accurately apply pesticides and other pest control products
- Educate customers on pest prevention and provide recommendations for long-term solutions
- Maintain accurate records of services provided and complete necessary paperwork
- Inspect, maintain, and perform preventative maintenance on vehicles and equipment as needed
- Continuously stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and product knowledge through in-house programs
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record & ability to maintain
- Ability to pass a background check
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in pest control or a related field is a PLUS!
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
- Physical ability to wear up to 50lb backpack sprayer; carry a 25lb spray tank
- Physical mobility to maneuver in tight spaces like crawlspaces, attics and basements including crouching, kneeling, and bending
- Ability & Drive for Success to Become Licensed in both IL & IA and Maintain Continuing Education Courses Throughout Employment
