Job Description
The Front End Department Manager is responsible for the successful operation of the Front End Department at Kennie's Market's Inc. This role involves supervising, training, and evaluating Front End associates to ensure exceptional customer service.
Maintaining and controlling supply and payroll expenses are critical aspects of this position. Additionally, managing secret shopper scores, paperwork thoroughness, and scheduling employees to control traffic flow at registers are key responsibilities.
This role also involves managing all money in store, including cash drawers, pick-ups, loans, deposits, food stamps, checks, coupons, and gift cards. Furthermore, accounting functions such as billing, transfers, charging expenses, payments of charges, Kennies Cards, monthly office inventory, and communicating with Corporate Accounting Office about problems and procedures are part of this role.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, be able to maintain a clean and safe work environment, and effectively handle customer inquiries and complaints. They must also be able to perform other duties as directed by store management.
