Director of Accounting and People Operations

A specialty robotics company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Accounting and People Operations to join their team just outside of Boston. This is a four days in office role. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all accounting and financial functions, as well as managing human resources operations. This permanent position requires a strategic thinker with a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and HR practices. Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee all accounting operations

- Developing financial models and reports to support investor relations

- Develop and implement accounting, insurance and HR policies and procedures

- Manage HR activities including benefits, health insurance, retirement plans, and annual performance reviews

- Ensure compliance with labor laws and HR best practices

- Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute financial and HR strategies

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, CPA certification required

- 5 years' experience in accounting, finance, and HR management.

- In-depth knowledge of GAAP and financial analysis

- Strong understanding of HR practices

- Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across departments
