What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quick Lube Technician position at Kenny Kent Chevrolet?
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Saturday 8:00 am - 1:00 pm every other weekend.

- Perform work, including oil changes, filter changes, lubrication as outlined on service ticket with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with dealership and manufacture standards.
- Inspect and report any needed maintenance or replacements including air filters.
- Check fluid levels, fill if necessary.
- Perform Multi Point Vehicle Inspection
- Fill out a follow up sticker and adhere it to the windshield.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Document work performed.
- Quality check work performed.
- Attend training classes
- Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins
- Ensure that customers’ vehicles are kept clean
- Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of waste.
- Work and communicate effectively with co-workers and management and be a Team Player.
Qualifications

- General mechanical and maintenance understanding of automobiles
- Ability to perform maintenance and safety inspection of automobiles and document all findings
- Ability to build quotes for maintenance, safety, and minor repair items that need corrected.
- Effective analytical and communication skills and eagerness to improve
- Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Some official work/center based training or Technical degree (preferred)
- One year in a service department (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
