What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concrete Finisher position at Kenny Seng Construction?
Finishers needed to perform concrete work including forming, placing, and finishing concrete floors, sidewalks, curb and gutter, and other flatwork. Applicants must be able to form, place and finish concrete using industry standard methods and tools. Applicants must have knowledge of industry safety standards and be willing to work in a safe manner to perform all required responsibilities. Applicant must have own reliable transportation to job sites.
Applicants should have at least one year of experience in finishing concrete. Applicants must be able to bend, stoop, crouch, and kneel while performing job duties and should be able to work safely on ladders and at heights. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Must be able to safety operate basic hand and power tools. Applicants should also have their own basic finishing tools: hammer, pliers, trowels, edgers, and hand floats. Experience running power trowels (riding / walk-behind) helpful but not required.
