Role Description

Responsible for performing highly diversified maintenance duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, maintenance prevention, and predictive systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following but other duties may be assigned.

o  Comply with safety regulations and maintain 5S area.

o  Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production CNC machines and the plant facility’s equipment.

o  Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs to production CNC equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.

o  Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.

o  Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production CNC machines.

o  Read and interpret equipment manuals and work tasks to be able to perform required maintenance services.

o  Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and adjust.

o  Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.

o  Perform a variety of plumbing, fabrication, maintenance, and carpentry functions.

o  Use a variety of hand and power tools, use electric Multimeters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.

o  Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.

o  Perform all other duties as assigned or needed to be required by Supervisor.

o  Perform heavy manual labor.

o  Will need to operate Hilo and Aerial lift.

o  Maintain continuity among team members by documenting and communicating daily tasks.

o  Operating and navigating skills on a computer system.

o  Will need to read CNC G-Code programs and make program, offsets, and tooling changes.


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

* Math skills

 * At least 2-5 years of CNC mechanical and electrical experience.

* Knowledge of precision measuring devices 

* Blueprint reading  

* Knowledge of CNC lathes, mills, programs, and repairs.

* Knowledge of G-code, M-code and Haas or Fanuc programming skills.

* Knowledge of Automated Robot Cells. Robot functions, and programming Fanuc and Universal robots.

 

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

  * Mechanical technical courses

* Journeyman’s card or equivalent experience - helpful.

* Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving skills  

* Electrical experience knowledge of 110, 220, 227, 480 volts

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to lift and move objects up to 51 pounds consistently and additional weight as a two person lift or with lifting devices.
