- Utilize KCA’s curriculum to plan, prepare, and deliver instruction; assess and report student progress to school administration and parents.
- Shepherd and mentor students, leading them in healthy spiritual formation.
- Participate in personal and professional development.
- Relate well and communicate effectively with colleagues and parents, building relationships and trust.
- Support the school’s mission to provide an excellent Christian education for center-city children of Kenosha, in hope of forming students, families, and staff who love God and neighbor.
- Display Christian maturity, regularly practice spiritual disciplines (including prayer and Bible reading), and be actively involved in a local church.
- Have the ability to effectively educate in a multiracial, multiethnic, and socioeconomically diverse urban community.
- Desire to equip students with an academically rigorous, comprehensive, classical Christian education that prepares them to deal with the complex issues of living in this present society.

- Demonstrate eagerness to build long-term relationships with students and their families.
- Minimum BS or BA.
