We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Bi-lingual Human Resources Generalist. The Human Resources Generalist will play a critical role in the HR department. The Human Resources Generalist manages the day-to-day HR functions. The HR Generalist's responsibilities include new hire training and onboarding, helping guide employees through the process of benefits, compensation reporting, and all HR initiatives and programs and providing support for a wide variety of human resources activities, including employee relations, recruiting, and administration of benefits. Advising managers, supervisors, or administrators in all HR practices, to provide information to employees about regulations, contract language, and policies, and to provide general support. Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
1.1. Responsible for hourly staffing and onboarding of new employees including preparation of new hire paperwork
1.2. Daily employee interaction and floor presence: resolving issues, answering questions, and working with employees and managers to encourage a culture of positive employee relations.
1.3. Provides updates and regular communication to the HR manager on building activity and escalates issues on time
1.4. Responsible for managing the administrative tasks of the HR systems within Paylocity, Navigator
1.5. Creates and maintains employee files via Paylocity HRIS
1.6. Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
1.7. Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR team to draw insights, and develop solutions, programs, and policies.
1.8. Maintains HRIS database, entering new hire information and terminating employees within the system.
1.9. Advises and provides support for department managers regarding company policy, equal employment opportunities, compensation, employee benefits, and disciplinary matters.
1.10. Other duties as assigned Required Experience & Qualifications
Requirements:2.1. Requires a Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of practical experience in human resources in a manufacturing environment or equivalent work experience.
2.2. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
2.3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
