Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various vehicles, ensuring safety and performance standards are met.
- Conduct thorough automotive diagnostics to identify issues using schematics and diagnostic tools.
- Align wheels, replace brake pads, and perform other essential repairs as needed.
- Execute auto body repair tasks, including welding when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain services performed and recommend additional repairs or maintenance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician in a dealership or independent shop setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work on various automotive systems.
- Familiarity with automotive electrical systems and diagnostics.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building rapport with clients.
- Experience in auto body repair is a plus but not required.
- Relevant certifications or training in automotive technology is preferred.
