Job Summary
The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented professional with strong organizational and multitasking abilities. In this fast-paced environment, they must efficiently manage customer orders and requests with accuracy and urgency. This role also requires stepping in to support other Customer Service Coordinators as needed to maintain seamless department operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Order Processing: Process customer orders via email and EDI while ensuring compliance with internal policies and customer requirements.
Order Accuracy: Validate order details, including product codes, pricing, weights, and lead times, while identifying and resolving discrepancies.
Order Compliance: Enforce order requirement rules such as pallet and layer configurations, multiple LTL orders, and other customer specific requirements.
Customer support: Promptly respond to a high volume of daily emails and customer inquiries with accuracy and attention to detail. Handle incoming phone calls, conducting thorough research and problem-solving to effectively resolve customer concerns.
Collaborative Customer Engagement: Foster strong customer relationships by providing proactive support and guidance while upholding established company policies.
Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve order-related issues efficiently while escalating concerns as needed, both internally and externally.
Cross-Functional Communication: Work closely with internal teams to source and provide accurate information for effective problem-solving.
CRM & Account Management: Utilize CRM platforms to manage and oversee multiple account types, including Foodservice, Retail, Regional, and National Accounts.
Department Support: Step in to assist other Customer Service Coordinators in case of absences, as assigned by the manager.
Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned to support the department’s success.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Help in the process of training new Customer Service Coordinators when necessary.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES

- Must be able to work well with others and work independently.
- Knowledge of EDI and Microsoft Word a plus.
Employment with Ken’s Foods is contingent upon successful completion of a drug test, background screening, and pre-employment assessment.
