This role involves engaging in tactical and strategic purchasing activities to support cost, sourcing, delivery, and supplier management functions within the Purchasing Department. The individual will be responsible for initiating and evaluating RFQ/RFPs, placing purchase orders based on cost, quality, and delivery requirements, and coordinating meetings with suppliers and customers to ensure project goals are met. • Provide support to team members to ensure processes are understood and followed.

Minimum Educational Qualifications:

  • Ability to maximize company profitability through cost reduction.
  • Ensure supplier on-time delivery with no impact on manufacturing, assembly, or MRO activities.
  • Supplier management, including problem resolution, contract review, and negotiation of terms and conditions.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to develop strategic plans, coordinate projects, and communicate changes and progress (RFP/RFQ, NPI, Change Point Control).
