What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Housekeeper position at Kensington School?
Kensington School is a full-day private school & childcare for infants through Kindergarten age, with fourteen locations in the Chicago area.
We are looking for a housekeeper to join our team and help us keep our schools clean! This position requires evening and weekend availability. While we would like our classrooms to be clean, we need to make sure that the children are home before we start deep cleaning.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- cleaning bins, shelving, inside and outside of classroom cabinets
- cleaning play areas within the classroom
- deep cleaning of bathrooms & kitchens
- wiping down all interior windows/glass
- deep cleaning of flooring
- deep cleaning toys and equipment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience professional cleaning/housekeeping
- Must pass a state background check
- Must have an up to date physical
- References are required
