Salary : Starting at $85,000 Annual Bonus Potential
Experience : Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position, preferably within a senior living community or home care environment, Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)
Work Location : In Person
Job Status / Schedule : Full-Time, including Weekends, Holidays, Evenings, On-Call

Overview :
The Memory Care Manager oversees all operations within the Connections Memory Care neighborhood, including planning, organizing, developing, directing, and evaluating programs and services. This role ensures that the needs and interests of the residents and their families are met with care and dedication.
What will you do as the Memory Care Manager?
Supports resident move-ins by reviewing pre-move-in medical evaluations, gathering personal information, assessing functional abilities, and identifying resident interests and social needs. Assist in the assessment and sales processes as needed.Regularly meets with current and prospective residents and their families to review resident care, participation in activities, solve problems, and promote positive customer relations. Assures problems and complaints are managed in a timely and appropriate manner.Leads the process of planning individual resident’s ADL assistance, clinical care coordination, nutrition, activities and completes resident Individual Service Plans. Organizes and leads Evaluation and ISP meetings with residents and families and submits finalized Evaluations to the business office for processing.Oversees the collaboration between the Memory Care Manager / Supervisor, Life Enrichment Manager, and Memory Care Activities Team to implement the Memory Care activities calendars and ensure active Team Member participation.Participates in Health Maintenance Meetings to review resident Individual Service Plans, note changes in residents’ condition, and recommends changes in care plans and activities to meet residents’ care needs.Manages departmental financial resources by overseeing the budget. Continuously monitors and adjusts staffing levels, care plans, and supply inventories to ensure alignment with labor, external services, and operational supply costs.Tracks Key Business Objective indicators and participates in regular reviews to assess compliance with Federal and State regulations as well as community policies, identifying areas for improvement. Creates and implements action plans to drive enhancements.Acts as a representative of Kensington Senior Living in professional and community events, fostering strong relationships with referral sources and service providers.Participates in the recruiting process by interviewing prospective hires and advising on next steps. Sets departmental priorities and determines job assignments, advises team members of changes that affect them.Onboards and supervises new Team Members and completes Introductory Period performance evaluations and existing Team Member Annual Performance Evaluations; presents staff promotion recommendations and disciplinary needs to the Executive Director.Attends and participates in workshops, seminars and other programs to keep apprised of changes in the healthcare field; communicates pertinent learned information to all necessary parties. Participates in other professional development activities as required.Knowledge & Skill :
Must have excellent verbal skills and communication abilities.Ability to work effectively within a team-based environment.Strong time management and organizational skills.Must have excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Property Management Systems.Ability to calculate figures related to budgetary items, staffing needs, and amounts such as percentages and area.Knowledge of appropriate Federal and State regulations pertaining to Senior Living.Pre-Employment Requirements :
Successful completion of criminal background check in state of employment.Demonstrate freedom from Tuberculosis by PPD / TB test or chest x-ray, documenting the absence of tuberculosis in a communicable form.Pass a pre-employment drug test.
