Job Description
As a specialized travel sales consultant in the Arctic and Antarctica, you will be responsible for consulting, planning and selling expedition cruise & land travel and creating high-touch, personalized experiences for our customers.
From the initial conversations, providing expert travel advice, from sourcing availability to quoting and finalizing bookings with our contracted cruise lines and destination management companies, you will work closely with high-end customers to create the ultimate travel package. You will need to craft your approach creatively and you will negotiate, handle objections, and identify additional business opportunities. It’s your goal to ensure all clients return home having had a trip which exceeds their expectations.

Qualifications
- 3-5 years of extensive experience with travel sales using a consultative sales approach
- Expertise in travel in the polar region, including knowledge in itinerary building and Expedition cruising
- Sound knowledge of Mediterranean and European River Cruises is an asset
- Proven ability to be resourceful and learn new systems
- Strong attention to detail, being highly organized and showing the ability to multi-task will help you succeed in this role
- Experience in building FIT packages servicing high-touch clientele would be beneficial
- Experience in meeting and exceeding monthly sales targets preferred
- Expert in client relationship building specifically with high-touch clients
- Ability to resolve problems independently in a timely manner
