What are the responsibilities and job description for the Superintendent position at Kent Building Services LLC?
This position consists of responsibility for the maintenance and cleanliness of a multistory apartment building in Brooklyn NY. It will involve both routine and preventive maintenance.
Duties include daily cleaning of the lobby and all public areas, including the sidewalk. The position also includes the handling and removal to the street of building trash and recycled items. Daily inspection of the entire building, including mechanical rooms, is an essential part of the position.
A candidate must have advanced skills and experience in painting, plumbing and electrical repairs, and the ability to diagnose the nature of building problems. On rare occasions, they must be able to go to the building and handle emergencies on a 24-hour, 7-day basis.
The abilities to keep records and receive and store materials in an orderly manner are required.
This is a Live-out position.
