Duties and Responsibilities
- Supplier Support & Coordination:
- Maintain and update supplier databases, contracts, and pricing information.
- Communicate with suppliers to gather and evaluate quotations and ensure timely responses.
- Market Research & Analysis:
- Research market trends and pricing for key categories, including concrete, rebar, lumber, and equipment rentals.
- Analyze data to support sourcing decisions and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Procurement Operations:
- Prepare and issue Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- Evaluate supplier bids, create comparison summaries, and provide recommendations.
- Monitor purchase orders to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Data Management & Reporting:
- Generate dashboards for savings, spend reports, and supplier performance metrics to provide insights for leadership.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, including order tracking and invoice reconciliation.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify inefficiencies in the purchasing process and propose actionable improvements.
- Learn and apply procurement tools and systems to enhance workflows.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with project managers, pre-construction, operations, and finance teams to align procurement activities with project schedules.
- Assist in resolving supplier issues and ensuring seamless supply chain operations.

Required Experience, Education, and Qualifications
- High school diploma and 2 years of experience in construction or a related field
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with dashboard tools and ERP systems.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and improve processes.
- Valid drivers license
- Must have reliable transportation to the workplace(s)/ job location(s).
- Ability to successfully pass a background check
- Ability to pass drug screening.
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.
Preferred Education, Experience, and Qualifications
- Associates degree and 1 year of commercial construction experience.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and adaptable problem solver.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team mentality.
- Must be willing to travel occasionally to other company offices, as needed.
- Construction Industry experience is a PLUS
