Are you ready to make an impact at KENT® Precision Foods Group, Inc.? We are looking for a dynamic Customer Finance Supervisor to lead our customer deduction/short payment resolution process and monitor trade spend planning.
In this key position, you will manage a team to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks, including month-end close activities, account reconciliations, and year-end audit requests. You will interact with all levels of management, including customer service, cash application, sales reps, and brokers, requiring strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.

- This position is designed and intended to be performed in Muscatine, IA.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations for specific areas of responsibility including:
- Customer Programs and sales deals
- Short Pay Process
- Access many customer web portals for information
- Submit Accounts Payable vouchers as needed for deductions from sales reps and brokers
- Track short payment trends, identify recurring issues, and provide insights to management to improve invoicing and payment processes
- Lead trade spend management efforts by setting, monitoring, tracking, and optimizing trade spend
- Lead and track trade spend forecasted spend, review actual spend vs. plan, and ensure accrual accuracy
- Ensure compliance with proper accounting methods, policies and principles
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions, where applicable
- Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Meet financial accounting objectives
- Maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate degree in Accounting or Business preferred
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant work experience, ideally with collections/dispute resolution and a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Ability to lead and supervise a team
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- High attention to detail and accuracy
TRAVEL:
- Occasional overnight travel maybe required, as needed to attend training, conferences, and meetings.
