Ready to join a five-time US Best Managed Company? The Senior Executive & Personal Assistant provides high-level administrative support to members of the KENT Executive Team. This critical role involves meticulously managing the executive daily activities to ensure smooth functionality, and requires superior organizational skills, discretion, and the ability to handle multiple high-priority tasks with exceptional professionalism. In addition, the role requires a tech-savvy individual with excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of representing the organization at community events.
- This role is designed and intended to be performed in Muscatine, Iowa.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Support:
- Oversees and coordinates key projects, ensuring deadlines are met and objectives are achieved.
- Provides critical information and analysis to support executive decision-making.
Communication Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the KENT Executive Team and internal/external stakeholders; manages the flow of information and communication to the executives.
Administrative Duties:
- Manages complex calendars, prioritizing meetings, and ensuring efficient use of the executive’s time.
- Organizes detailed travel plans, including logistics and itineraries.
Document Preparation:
- Prepares and organizes materials for meetings, board discussions, and presentations.
- Drafts and handles emails, memos, and other forms of communication.
- Prepares written summaries of data, and follow-up on action items.
Operational Support:
- Coordinates and manages events, both internal and external.
- Ensures the smooth operation of the executive office, including managing budgets and resources.
Confidentiality and Trust:
- Acts as a trusted advisor and confidante, often involved in sensitive and confidential matters.
- Addresses issues proactively and finds solutions to challenges that arise.
Representation:
- Occasionally represent the KENT Executive Team at community functions and special engagements.
Tech Savvy:
- Supports the executives with software, communication platforms, and project management tools.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Executive Assistant, preferably supporting C-level executives.
- Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) or Certified Executive Assistant (CEA), preferred.
- Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to learn new or updated software.
- Knowledge of office administration, clerical procedures, and recordkeeping systems
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- High level of professionalism and discretion.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
TRAVEL:
- 10-15% Requires the ability and willingness to travel as needed to various KENT locations and events.
