Do you have a valid driver’s license, driving experience in a volunteer or professional role, and a clean driving record? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! At Kent County Community Action, we believe that driving is not just about being a good driver. It’s about improving the quality of life and access to important resources for people throughout our community. As a Community Support Driver, you will be responsible for delivering food to homebound customers, safely transporting customers to and from activities and appointments, escorting passengers, and other assistance as needed. You will drive county-owned vans and small buses to locations all throughout Kent County as you chat with your regular riders and get to know new participants. Your impact on our community is felt daily. We offer comprehensive training, competitive benefits including medical, prescription, dental, vision, and a fully defined pension plan.
