Key Responsibilities:
Manage Cisco Network Infrastructure: Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Cisco firewalls, switches, and access points to ensure secure and efficient network operations.
Establish and enforce network security measures to safeguard against intrusions, breaches, and system failures.
Install, configure, test, upgrade, troubleshoot, and respond to issues with switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless networks.
Securely connect VPNs and remote sites, coordinating external agent connectivity.
Maintain network systems and architecture, enhancing operational efficiency.
Document additions and modifications to network architecture.
Manage security efforts for HIPAA compliance and Information Technology, ensuring alignment with regulations from the Office for Civil Rights (OCR), Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), and local, state, and federal regulations.
Facilitate and develop ongoing Security Awareness Training for staff, focusing on regulatory and industry standards for information systems security management, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA requirements.
Respond promptly to security threats, investigate incidents, and liaise with local, state, and federal authorities as needed.
Provide technical support for hardware, software, and peripheral issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
Set up and manage user accounts, access permissions, and system configurations across Active Directory and other enterprise systems.
Install, update, and troubleshoot software applications while ensuring compliance with licensing and security standards.
Deliver user training, documentation, and remote support to help staff effectively use technology and resolve common IT issues.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field combined with two years of relevant work experience; CISSP, CCNA, or similar certification is a plus.
Solid troubleshooting skills and experience with network hardware, including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs.
Experience in network architecture including the ability to manage and troubleshoot network services, including Active Directory (AD), DHCP, DNS, and digital certificates, ensuring proper configuration, security, and functionality across the network.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, IT security frameworks, and best practices.
Knowledge of Endpoint Security, Intrusion Detection, and Response, including the ability to deploy, configure, and manage EDR solutions, perform threat hunting, and effectively respond to security incidents across endpoints.
Strong communication and collaboration skills working within a team.
Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple tasks independently.
