JOB SUMMARY:
Kent Hospitality Group is seeking an Accounts Payable Associate to manage and oversee the accuracy and timely execution of financial transactions related to payables. This role is integral in ensuring that all invoices are meticulously reviewed, processed, and scheduled for payment. The Accounts Payable Associate will also collaborate with the Accounting team to facilitate timely and accurate monthly financial closes. This position is perfectly suited for both emerging and experienced professionals who are eager to excel in the dynamic realms of Finance and Hospitality.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accounts Payable Responsibilities:
- Processes all assigned accounts payable transactions, including inventory, utilities, and other operational costs, ensuring accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
- Collaborates with local store teams and corporate departments to ensure precise invoice processing and timely payments.
- Reconciles vendor statements to keep payables up-to-date and identify any potential discrepancies or missing expenses.
- Onboards new vendors and updates vendor files, ensuring all payment details are verified and current.
- Executes weekly payments through checks, credit cards, and electronic transfers.
- Addresses inquiries from vendors and team members regarding billing and payments, ensuring prompt and courteous email responses.
- Manages the organization of invoicing and payment documentation for efficient scanning, filing, and retrieval; provides copies of invoices as requested.
- Supports external and internal audit processes.
- Undertakes additional responsibilities and tasks as needed or directed.
Salary : $20 - $23
