POSITION : English Language Teacher
START DATE / CALENDAR : February 1, 2025 / Per 2024-25 School Calendar
SALARY / BENEFITS : As outlined in KHEA Master labor agreement
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Must hold a valid State of Michigan teaching certificate with English as a Second Language (NS) endorsement.
- Fluency in Spanish and English in both speaking and writing required.
- High level of understanding about personalized learning and ability to instruct students effectively in small groups.
- Required knowledge of skills and abilities related to diversity, equity, and cultural competence.
- Knowledge of own competence in the area of diversity and equity, how this influences own behavior and a desire to learn about others identities.
