Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as a Dock Hand. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the efficient loading and unloading of passengers, equipment, and supplies.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload passengers from vehicles, boats, or other transport vehicles while following established procedures.
- Material Organization: Arrange and organize equipment on the dock to optimize space and facilitate easy access.
- Equipment Operation: Operate boats, ATVs, and other equipment as needed while conducting routine checks and maintenance to ensure proper functioning.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure work environment.
- Communication: Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure a coordinated workflow.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing equipment for damages and ensure they meet quality standards.
Requirements
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate handling and organization of materials.
