Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Painter/Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive painting and body repairs, with experience in dealership environments preferred. This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Perform all levels of Collision Repair. Duties may include the overhaul, adjustment, replacement and repair of all series of equipment including, but not limited to the following: Cab/ Sheet Metal Repair, Fiberglass Repair, Composite Bonding/ Repair, Welding/ Fabricating, Surface Preparation, and Paint/ Mixing/ Tinting/ Blending.
- Identify and determine parts required for repair of disassembled units.
- Execute heavy lifting tasks as necessary for vehicle repairs and part replacements.
- Perform duties with little or no supervision and in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assist in auto restoration projects, ensuring quality craftsmanship throughout the process.
- Utilize power tools safely and effectively in various repair tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Automotive Painter/Body Technician, preferably in a dealership setting.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by job duties.
- Proficiency in the use of all tools of trade (including welding equipment, paint equipment, shop machines, and power tools) required.
- Knowledge of auto restoration processes is an advantage.
- Familiarity with auto estimating practices to provide accurate service quotes.
- Strong welding skills are beneficial for certain repair tasks, but not required.
- Detail-oriented mindset to ensure high-quality workmanship on all projects.
- Proficient in using power tools safely within an automotive environment.
- Excellent customer service skills to enhance client interactions.

- The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg.
