Job Summary: The Service Coordinator coordinates activities of Service Technicians and is responsible for assisting the Office Manager and Sales and Service Teams with some daily administrative activities. The Service Coordinator is responsible for continuous communication with builders and customers regarding service and warranty work to be performed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinates weekly service schedule and distributes appropriate paperwork to Service Technicians. Updates daily as needed.
- Schedules Warranty calls with Homeowners and Service calls with Superintendents daily.
- Consults with Service Technicians to ensure all work is completed and help with any needed supplies.
- Verifies and schedules a daily log of all work orders that are ordered and received through Sales staff.
- Assist Sales staff with obtaining information.
- Submits information to the web/Intranet.
- May handle receptionist duties with phone and visitors and keeps show room tidy.
- Assist the Office Manager whenever needed.
- Any miscellaneous duties assigned by Regional Manager or Office Manager.
Qualifications
- 1. High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2. Customer Service oriented. Customer friendly.
- 3. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- 4. Prior office experience.
- 5. Construction knowledge a plus.
- 6. Good written and verbal communications skills.
- 7. Knowledge of Excel, Open Office, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and QUIP.
- 8. Works with little supervision and has capability of working with diverse personalities.
- 9. Ability to handle stressful situations when they arise and make sound judgment.
- 10. Exceptional attendance.
- 11. Bilingual a plus.
Essential Functions of the Job
1. Sits for several hours or more per day.
2. May stand and walk several hours per day.
3. Sometimes lifts and carries heavy objects.
4. Bends, stretches, reaches and twists while performing duties of the job.
5. Frequently uses fingers to operate telephone, grasp and use writing implements and papers, operate calculator and computer, and perform other job duties.
6. Must have correction vision to:
i) Complete forms and other necessary paperwork
ii) Be aware of surroundings and location of items needed
iii) Perform various job duties
7. Must have corrected hearing to listen to:
i) needs of customers in person and over the telephone
ii) needs and advice from supervisor and co-workers
iii) the environment to be aware of surroundings
8. Must be able to communicate effectively with management, coworkers, and customers, both over the phone and in person.
9. Must be alert and able to identify a hazard, should one occur, in order to avoid it, by correcting immediately or reporting immediately as necessary.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
