What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Maintenance Professional position at Kent Nutrition Group?
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Professional to join our team at the Kent Nutrition Group's Richford, VT plant. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing all plant equipment and buildings. This includes performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting electrical equipment, and making repairs as needed. You will work closely with the production team to ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Reporting any factors that may influence the quality and safety of the finished feed and ingredients to the immediate supervisor
- Installing circuit breakers, starters, panels, running conduit and making hook-ups with little or no supervision
- Repairing all mill equipment with little or no supervision
- Troubleshooting all electrical equipment in the plant and repairing same, up to and including 480 volts
- Reading and working with blueprints, drawings, sketches and schematics
- Filling on-call positions as assigned, during non-regular business hours
- Following all KNG Guidelines and requirements of plant and company policies, all regulatory and certifying agencies
- Attending seminars and correspondence courses whenever possible to improve skill levels
- Being physically able to perform all tasks required, but not limited to climbing, lifting and carrying weights of 55 lbs or more
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have a strong background in electrical maintenance and a thorough knowledge of OSHA safety requirements. You should also have good communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and grow. Additionally, you must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
