Job Description
The Plant Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of plant operations at our Mason, Michigan facility. This includes managing personnel, developing and implementing quality control programs, and ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies.
Primary Duties:
- Develop and implement effective training programs for plant personnel.
- Manage department leads, assistant plant managers, and other personnel to achieve plant goals and objectives.
- Prepare and present quarterly updates to the regional operations manager.
- Implement and maintain high-quality standards in all areas of plant operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum 5-10 years related work experience, preferably in feed mill operations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Knowledge of regulatory agencies such as FDA, OSHA, and EPA.
