Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Garden Associate to support the success of our greenhouse at Kent Nutrition Group in Hillsborough, NH.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service and communication skills to coordinate with store and warehouse staff to meet customer needs.
- Maintain the upkeep and restocking of greenhouse inventory, as well as keep all areas clean and maintained.
- Design and organize merchandise displays in the greenhouse.
Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Operate computer POS system efficiently.
- Manage cash and credit card transactions accurately.
- Reconcile end-of-day sales and prepare deposits.
- Perform greenhouse maintenance tasks, including cleaning and stocking.
- Contribute to the care and handling of live plants and animals in the store.
- Answer customer inquiries about greenhouse products.
- Communicate effectively with store and warehouse staff to ensure timely customer pick-ups.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Perform other duties assigned by Store Management.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A solid work history.
- Customer service skills.
- Animal, horticulture, and agriculture knowledge is helpful.
- The ability to work independently and with others.
- Extended periods of time walking and standing in an outdoor environment.
