We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Specialist to join our team at the Richford, VT plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and servicing all plant equipment and buildings. This is a Monday-Friday opportunity with a schedule of 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you must have a thorough knowledge of electrical supply circuits, good welding skills, and proficiency with an oxygen acetylene torch. Additionally, you should be able to read and work with blueprints, drawings, sketches, and schematics. A complete understanding of mill flows, processes, and equipment, as well as electrical systems, parts inventories, and sources, is also essential.

To be considered for this role, you must have a High School diploma or GED, a positive attitude, and a team spirit. You must also be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and be physically able to perform all tasks required, which includes climbing, lifting, and carrying weights of 55 lbs or more.Observe safe practices at all times. All other duties as assigned
Work Environment:
The Industrial Maintenance Specialist will work in a dynamic environment where dust and adverse weather conditions and temperatures are present. The ability to lift a minimum of 55 lbs from floor to working height is also required.

Responsibilities:
The Industrial Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for:
- Reporting any factors that may influence the quality and safety of the finished feed and ingredients to the immediate supervisor
- Installing circuit breakers, starters, panels, running conduit, and making hook-ups with little or no supervision
- Repairing all mill equipment with little or no supervision
- Troubleshooting all electrical equipment in the plant and repairing same, up to and including 480 volts
- Filling on-call positions as assigned, during non-regular business hours
- FOLLOWING ALL KNG GUIDELINES AND REQUIREMENTS OF PLANT AND COMPANY POLICIES, ALL REGULATORY AND CERTIFYING AGENCIES
- Attending seminars and correspondence courses whenever possible to improve skill levels
