KENT® Precision Foods Group, a member of the KENT Corporation family of companies, has a fantastic opportunity to join their team as a Blender Operator! The Blender Operator performs mixing duties in the blending room. They are responsible for meeting the blend schedule, reaching daily goals and objectives, as well as maintaining a clean orderly work area.
- The compensation range for this role is $18 to $20 an hour, in addition to KENT standard benefits (health, dental, vision, 401k). Final compensation is subject to variation based on the candidate's skills, job responsibilities, location and other pertinent factors.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reads schedule/work order sheets (formulas) and confirms raw material ingredients and lot numbers of all raw materials
- Inspects the quality and integrity of all raw materials used. Stops all production if there are issues regarding material quality.
- Reads and understands formulas and mixing instructions and follows sequence, screening and mix time requirements
- Measures/weighs raw materials and counts accurately
- Cleans and sanitizes blending equipment following defined procedures for cleaning and sanitizing
- Maintains neat and accurate daily production records
- Maintains a clean and sanitary work area
- Safely stacks bags on pallet
- Ensures blending rooms are kept clean and organized
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to work in varying temperature conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds including above head and below the waist for 50% or more of shift.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
