Business Development Manager/Sales

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts; soliciting new accounts; building rapport; provident technical information and explanations; preparing quotes and/or proposals
  • Identify sales opportunities; prospects and generated sales through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Telephones prospects to identify appropriate contacts, qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline
  • Understanding customer needs and requirements. ? Respond to requests from customers for information
  • Engage in technical discussions with potential clients through demonstrations and presentations
  • Accomplishes company goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
  • Keeps management informed of all activities through written and verbal reports
  • Local travel expected

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years in a sales or sales support role
  • Excellent verbal, written and communications
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Ability to work within a team structure
  • Ability to learn and retain product specific information as it pertains to the position
