- This position is designed and intended to be performed in Washington, IN.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performing and coordinating permitting, monitoring, testing and reporting of air emissions, water discharges and waste disposal at a corn wet milling facility in Washington, IN.
- Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of site environmental programs.
- Maintain and update environmental programs including: Spill Prevention and Countermeasure (SPCC) plan, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP), Toxic Release Inventory (TRI), Green House Gas (GHG) emissions, Tier II reporting (SARA311/312), Continuous Emission Monitoring (CEMS) for the Washington facility.
- Collaborate with departments to ensure environmental compliance, acting as a resource for division and department management.
- Obtain new/modified permits as needed and renew existing permits as required by law. Assist with the management of the onsite wastewater treatment plant.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or equivalent experience.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1 or more years of experience in an environmentally oriented position.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations.
- Computer Skills Required: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience in an industrial setting is preferred but not required.

- Occasionally for training.
