Basic Function
Under the supervision of the Director of Employee and Labor Relations, provide critical guidance and support to campus administrators on employee and labor relations matters for staff to include progressive discipline and corrective action, employee job performance or behavior concerns, employee complaints and grievances, alternate dispute resolution, strategic management of employee or labor issues, transitional work program and performance management for AFSCME represented employees and non-faculty employees. Assist with implementing a comprehensive employee relations strategy to effectively manage complex workplace relationships, employee engagement and workplace culture. Reports to Associate Vice President, People and Culture or designee.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in human resources, conflict management, business or closely related field of study. A minimum of three years of generalist, labor relations, and employee relations experience. Possesses analytical skills to conduct analysis and develop recommendations. Must be able to work nontraditional hours when necessary, including evenings and weekends.
