Basic Function:
The University Office of Scholarships & Financial Aid invite applications for full-time temporary position to assist this summer in the awarding and certification of private loan applications.

Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following:
The successful candidate will be part of a team that awards and adjusts private student loans. Responsibilities will include:
- Determine private loan awards, award private loans, certify private loans.
- Evaluate and determine appropriate action for invalid and/or incomplete private loan applications.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Ensure the security and confidentiality of all student record information to comply with the Federal Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
- Update student accounts.
- Assist with special projects and perform other related duties as assigned.

None.Minimum Qualifications:
- BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN A RELEVANT FIELD; THREE MONTHS EXPERIENCE IN STUDENT FINANCIAL AID, CUSTOMER SERVICE, OR A RELEVANT FIELD. Knowledge of higher education is a plus.
- Personal computer applications.
License/Certification:

- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Provide excellent service to our students while complying with confidentiality laws and university awarding policies.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Problem solving and problem resolution skills.
- Computer applications, including proficiency in Banner and Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word. Use of standard office equipment, including calculator, copier, and fax machine.

Working Schedule:
This is a temporary position starting May 1, 2025 and working through August 29, 2025. Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (This is not a remote position.)
