We are seeking a detail-oriented, hardworking, and team-focused Verification Specialist / Call Center Representative. In this role, you will ensure accurate and timely background checks while delivering a high level of professionalism in all interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify employment, education, and references by contacting appropriate sources.
- Conduct 70 professional and clear phone calls daily.
- Gather information efficiently using phone, fax, and email.
- Research and retrieve data accurately from various websites and databases.
- Provide timely updates to clients on verification progress.
- Support team goals by completing additional tasks as assigned.
- Experienced: Minimum of 2 years in call center or customer service roles and 1 year in an office environment.
- Educated or Experienced: A college degree in Criminal Justice, Pre-Law, Paralegal, Journalism, or Political Science (preferred) or 3 years of related work experience.
- Fast and Accurate: Typing speed of 50 words per minute with high accuracy.
- Trustworthy: Able to pass security clearance to obtain a Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Adaptable and quick problem-solver.
