Position Summary:

As a Senior Operations Specialist, you will be a key leader within our Operations/Bookkeeping department, ensuring the integrity of our financial processes and guiding your team through daily operations while upholding our commitment to excellence and compliance.
What You’ll Do:
- Departmental Leadership & Scheduling: Develop and oversee daily, monthly, and annual departmental schedules, manage year-end procedures, and assist with disaster recovery testing.
- Advanced Transaction Processing & Reconciliation: Process wire and ACH payments with precision and reconcile daily critical account activity to maintain accurate financial records.
- Financial Reporting & Audit Support: Maintain the general ledger, prepare detailed reports for external auditors, and ensure all financial documentation meets compliance standards.
- Team Support & Cross-Training: Serve as backup to the Senior Operations Manager, provide first-line support to Operations Specialists, and lead cross-training initiatives to boost team expertise.
- Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement: Streamline operational tasks, ensure adherence to banking regulations, and participate in training to stay current with evolving processes and technologies.
